Molly Kraus currently serves as the Executive Director of the GRYD Research & Evaluation Team based at California State University, Los Angeles. She has over a decade of experience in developing data infrastructures and working with community-based organizations to connect research to practice through data feedback loops.
Molly leads oversight of the building and support for a data infrastructure that provides the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Gang Reduction and Youth Development and their partner organizations with timely information about services and on-going technical assistance. She and her team craft policies to support and standardize data collection, provide training, and serve as the architects, administrators, and report writers for GRYD’s ETO and Apricot databases. In 2022, Molly and the GRYD Research & Evaluation Team were recognized by Social Solutions Global, now Bonterra, as a Data-Driven Champion: a program which distinguishes individuals and organizations for exemplary utilization of data and accelerating lasting social impact. She received her MPL and a Geographic Information Technology Certificate from the University of Southern California.
